The Victoria Skate Park in Victoria (Rabat), Gozo, is part of the wider Victoria Playing Field & Children’s Recreation Area, which received planning permission for refurbishment in 2012.

The revamped playing field including facilities for children and youth, was officially opened in Friday 22nd September 2018. While there’s no definitive record of the skate park’s exact date of construction or if it was included from the outset, the area has since become a public outdoor space for recreation, situated close to the Bus Terminus and Police Station, and is maintained by the Local Council.

As it stands today.

Victoria Skatepark has become a popular destination for skaters of all levels, offering a compact yet versatile setup perfect for practicing tricks and enjoying a smooth ride.

Obstacles at Victoria Skatepark

1. Fixed Square Rail
The park features a sturdy, square-shaped rail that is securely fixed to the ground. Its size and stability make it ideal for practicing grinds, slides, and technical tricks. Perfect for skaters learning their first boardslides or dialing in more advanced variations.

2. Bank
The bank provides a sloped surface for picking up speed, quick transitions, or practicing tricks at an incline. Skaters often use it to set up lines, attempt flip tricks, or simply gain momentum to flow through the park.

3. Funbox with Ledges
At the center of Victoria Skatepark is a funbox with ledges. This versatile feature allows for a mix of manuals, ledge tricks, and gap attempts. Whether you’re working on 50-50s, nose slides, or flatground-to-funbox combos, the funbox adds variety and creativity to any session.

4. Small Quarter Pipe
The quarter pipe is a smaller transition ramp, making it approachable for beginners while still fun for advanced riders. It’s perfect for kick turns, stalls, and small airs, and can be used to flow back into the flat ground or set up for lines across the park.

Flat Ground
In addition to the built obstacles, Victoria Skatepark offers plenty of smooth flat ground. This makes it a great place for practicing flat tricks like kickflips, manuals, or shove-its, and provides space for warm-ups or casual cruising.
