Skatepark Antwerpen-Noord

Where Rails, Bowls, and City Life Collide, Spoor Noord!

Tucked into Antwerp’s northern district, Park Spoor Noord sits on what used to be an old railway yard, a place of trains and warehouses dating back to the late 19th century. In the early 2000s, the city decided to breathe new life into the area, turning it into a vibrant urban park filled with green spaces, walking paths, and sports facilities.

The skatepark officially opened in 2007 and recently renovated in 2023, it became a favorite spot for local skaters and other street sport riders. Its mix of bowls, banks, and street-style obstacles gives beginners a place to learn and advanced riders a chance to link tricks. Over the years, the park has hosted competitions and community events, making it a lively hub for urban sport.

Surrounded by open lawns, playgrounds, and repurposed industrial buildings, it blends skating with city life in a way that feels uniquely Antwerp. Today, it’s not just a skatepark — it’s a place to ride, meet friends, and enjoy the energy of a neighborhood that turned history into public fun.

Antwerp’s beating heart.
