This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through www.Skateboardingdiary.com. We are based in Malta (European Union) and ship worldwide.
Because our products are made specifically to order, different rules apply compared to traditional retail stores. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Made-to-Order Products & EU Consumer Law
All items sold on our website are made to order once a purchase is completed.
Under EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, this right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized (Article 16(c)).
As our products are custom-produced per order, we do not accept returns or refunds for:
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse
- Incorrect size selection
- Ordering the wrong item
- Personal preference after delivery
Please ensure you carefully review product details, size charts, and order information before completing your purchase.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you are entitled to a free replacement or refund, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.
To be eligible, you must:
- Contact us within [7–14] days of receiving your order
- Provide clear photographic evidence showing:
- The issue with the item
- The full product
- The original packaging and shipping label (if applicable)
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we will issue a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

3. Refunds (If Approved)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider
Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the item is defective or incorrect
4. Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
If your item qualifies due to damage, defect, or fulfillment error, we will provide a replacement rather than an exchange.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase.
Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
6. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
If your order appears lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will investigate the issue.
Skateboardingdiary is not responsible for:
Packages marked as delivered but stolen or misplaced
Delays caused by customs or postal services
7. International Orders
For customers ordering outside the European Union:
These fees are not refundable
You may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, or import fees
8. Policy Abuse & Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to refuse refunds or replacements in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or excessive claims.
9. Legal Disclaimer
This policy complies with EU consumer protection laws, including applicable exemptions for made-to-order goods. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights where applicable.
