Europe’s First SLS-Certified Skate Plaza!
Skate Àgora stands on land once occupied by old industrial buildings and former music bars in Badalona’s Manresà area.
In the mid-2010s the site was re-imagined as part of a coastal revitalization effort, turning a neglected industrial zone into an open public space centered around sport and community.
Designed by California Skateparks and completed in 2015, the project represented a major investment in local urban culture.
Today, the complex spans about 4,600 m², with a 1,250 m² skate plaza built to professional standards.
It became the first skatepark in Europe certified by Street League Skateboarding, enabling it to host elite competitions.
Its layout includes dedicated zones for beginners, intermediate riders, and advanced skaters, offering stairs, rails, hubbas, banks, and technical street elements.
Set beside Badalona’s beachfront, the park merges skateboarding with an open seaside atmosphere.
Beyond the skate areas, the site includes a skate academy, a shop, social spaces, and regular events, making it an active cultural hub.
Free community lessons and structured coaching programs support both new and developing skaters.
Looking ahead, Skate Àgora aims to continue expanding its role in international events while strengthening its local community programs.
Its flexible design and coastal location position it to remain a leading destination for skateboarding, culture, and public activity in the years to come.
World-Class Street Terrain on the Waterfront.
