Sant Joan Despi Skatepark

Concrete Dreams: The Rebirth of Sant Joan Despí’s Skatepark

Tucked away in the vibrant outskirts of Barcelona, the Sant Joan Despí Skatepark at Parc de la Fontsanta has become more than just a spot to ride — it’s a story of revival, creativity, and community. Once home to a modest setup of old modular ramps, this space has transformed into a sleek, modern playground for skaters of every style.

In late 2023, the city in collaboration with SpokoRamps & local users feedback gave it new life — a complete rebuild designed by local specialists who know what real street and bowl skating should feel like. Now, spanning over a thousand square meters, the park’s flowing lines, smooth transitions, and carefully balanced obstacles invite everyone from first-timers to pros to carve their own rhythm.

But it’s not just concrete and curves — it’s a meeting point for the local community, a space built with input from the people who ride it every day. The air here hums with energy, laughter, and the sound of wheels meeting fresh pavement.

The new Sant Joan Despí Skatepark isn’t just another project — it’s a living symbol of how urban spaces can evolve when passion meets design.
