Jart Decks Review

~4.4/5 – Jart is a Spanish skateboard brand (founded in 2002 in Irún, Spain)

It produces a wide range of decks and completes for street, park and shaped/old-school styles. Their common construction is 7-ply hard rock maple with ecological/epoxy glues. Boards are manufactured in Europe and aimed at a broad audience from beginner to advanced riders. My experience has been that Jart decks of good value. Having a solid pop and durability for the price, though graphic – art direction high-end boutique characteristics vary by model.

Construction & materials:

Ply / wood: 7-ply hard rock maple (Canadian/American).

Glue / press: Strong glue often labeled “2XS ecological glue” or epoxy construction giving it its pop and longevity.

Manufacture: Manufactured in Europe, HLC España

Takeaway: Materials and specs are in line with mainstream deck construction—7-ply maple + strong glue, so you shouldn’t expect exotic laminates unless a specific model lists them.
Ride characteristics (pop, concave, durability):

Pop: Solid, reliable pop suitable for street/park tricks.

Concave / shape: Jart offers a range of shapes (low/medium/high concave, standard popsicle, shaped/old-school).

Choose by model: e.g., “Classic” (medium), “Cut Off” (high concave), shaped pools/old school models for wider stance.

Durability: Decks hold up well when used regularly. Solid, not fragile, mid-market decks. Dependable, cost-effective option rather than a boutique/high-precision brand.

Takeaway: Expect dependable pop and reasonable longevity (3 months)
Particularly good for skaters who want performance without boutique pricing.
Sizing & fit:

Standard widths are offered across the usual range (7.75″, 8.0″, 8.25″, 8.5″, 8.625″, 8.875″, etc.) and lengths conform to those widths.

Graphics, finish & availability:

Jart runs many team/graphic lines (Classic, Cut Off, Pool Before Death, Rolling, etc.). Graphics are frequently reissued across sizes and finishes. Top-ply color may vary between production batches.
Price & value:

Jart decks are generally priced in the mid-range on skate shop sites (competitive with other mainstream brands). Many retailers and users point to good value: competitive retail pricing, solid materials and European manufacture for their price point.
How Jart compares to other brands:

Versus big North American brands (e.g., Plan B, Girl, Baker):

Jart competes on value and European availability. Riders who favor a specific factory feel or boutique press may prefer niche makers. Jart is a safe, value-oriented option rather than the “flashiest” choice.
Pros ✅Cons ❌
Reliable 7-ply maple construction and solid pop for the price. Not a boutique brand.
Wide model range and sizes — street popsicle to shaped decks.Graphics/art direction is hit-or-miss depending on the run, colors or veneers may vary.
Good value: performance similar to more expensive decks in many riders’ experience.Might chip under direct hits.
Lasts quite a while under heavy daily use.
(3 months)
Not the lightest option available.
Final Verdict

If you want a dependable, well-constructed deck at a reasonable price (with plenty of size/shape options), Jart is a solid choice. They’re especially appealing for riders in Europe (good local availability) and skaters who want performance without boutique pricing. If your priority is a very specific boutique press or ultra-light / hand-finished boards, compare model-by-model with smaller makers.
